Intensive In-Home Counselor (IIC):

Therapist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide in-home counseling to youth ranging from 3-21 years of age and their families

  • Demonstrate competency in the knowledge and skills that are necessary to meet clients’ psychological and social needs

  • Create and maintain monthly treatment plans

  • Maintain communication with care managers regarding client progress

  • Attend scheduled meetings relating to treatment planning and position responsibilities, as well as supervision if applicable

  • Interact professionally and respectfully with clients, families, staff members, and care managers

  • Document each counseling session in a timely manner

  • Plan accordingly for termination and communicate plans clearly to clients, families, staff, and care managers

  • Maintain standards of confidentiality

  • Willing to travel to one or more of the following counties: Atlantic, Bergen, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Salem Somerset, Sussex, Union or Warren

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Provisionally licensed clinicians must provide proof of clinical supervision if not receiving supervision from the agency

  • Supervision provided by agency (if needed)

  • Must pass a criminal history background check

  • Experience with developmental disabilities and Spectrum disorders a plus

 

Rate: $60-$75 (LAC, LSW) per hour /  $80-90  (LPC, LCSW) per hour – range depends on experience and supervision

Behavioral Assistant (BA):

Behavioral assistance services help youth and families develop and practice healthy coping strategies and techniques. This service focuses on addressing target behaviors and improving overall emotional and behavioral regulation abilities. Behavioral assistance services strengthen skills in a variety of life domains, including, but not limited to: physical and mental well-being, interpersonal communications and relationships, social interactions, behavioral conduct, adaptive coping strategies and behaviors, and recreational/leisure activities. Responsibilities include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, sociology, or other related field

  • Provide individual direct services to children and adolescents in need of behavioral interventions

  • Provide assistance to Intensive In-Community Therapist (IIC) in developing behavioral therapy programs and modify daily activities of youth and families appropriate to behavioral interventions

  • Comply with behavioral plans developed by IIC and support the implementation of individualized treatment plans for each youth

  • Participate in child family team meetings, as necessary

  • Participate in required supervision and/or staff meetings to discuss current and upcoming family sessions and needs and pertinent agency information

  • Willing to travel to one or more of the following counties: Atlantic, Bergen, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Salem Somerset, Sussex, Union or Warren

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Must pass a criminal background check

  • Bilingual language skills a plus

 

Rate: $35-$40 per hour, depending on exp.
